The BIM Execution Plan generator started in 2013 as ‘BIM Protocol Generator’. It was a project from the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research TNO.
Together with the founding partners the tool was created but never really applied in practise and the tool slowly disappeared. In 2017 the concept of asking project partners their preferred way of working is still very active and valid. Therefore the BIM Supporters organisation build the BIM Execution Plan generator. This tool is build from scratch, but based on the same ideas as the original concept.
